FOR A SENTIMENTAL EDUCATION

The Italian Philosopher Umberto Galimberti wrote recently about the incapacity of many young people to feel emotions, to look at the reality around them with their soul, heart, spirits.

The young look as if they were unable to feel emotions, to be passionate, to relate to the world in a way which is not guided by the rational mind.

This is most true, or, at least, it looks like that.
